So I was at Youmacon for the weekend and I dunno, I just really wasn't feeling it. I brought my favorite costume and everything and just could not convince myself to put it on... After I while I realized it's cause I've gained a lot of weight since the last time I wore it and I was dreading seeing how I looked in it. After that I realized it wasn't just that costume...I didn't feel like wearing ANY costume, or drawing attention to myself in any way. I just felt like total crap. I didn't even feel excited about making my next costume, which I have been wanting to make for a really long time.

So I have decided to take a break from cosplay... I said something at the con like...I won't make another costume unless I lose 30 pounds. But that doesn't seem that likely, so I dunno. I guess it depends on how much it takes for me to get my self-confidence back.

So we'll see. Also I'm planning on doing some "Spring Cleaning" and taking down a lot of my old cosplay photos that didn't turn out so well. So yeah...that's what's new on the cosplay front.
